Money for school funds

It is possible to obtain significant commission from leading retailers. edupayment combines all the sales (from every educational establishment) therefore the percentage commission being paid by many of the retailers increases dramatically in line with volume of sales (for example a 4% commission may increase to 10%)

The average commission is between 4% and 10%. This is for purchasing things like televisions, car insurance, holidays, DVDs, books, CDs, flights etc.

70% of all funds raised on behalf of the school, college or university will be paid by eduPayment directly to the schools.

When does our school get paid?

The payment is made quarterly and 60 days in arrears. (The 60 days in arrears period allows the account to be balanced if people return goods or cancel orders.) The minimum amount that would be paid is £50.00, any amounts less will be left to accrue.

Edupayment is committed to having a transparent accounting system. All development, maintenance and operating costs will be taken out of the remaining 30% commission retained by edupayment. If schools choose to register then a password will enable them to view their account and see the actual money being earned.

Examples of commission:

  • an average family holiday abroad (cost of travel and accommodation) is £1800 which would give the school commission of £50.40
  • a television of £300 would give commission to the school of £8.40
  • a DVD would give commission of 42p but this could increase to £1.05 with the volume of sales combined from all the schools, colleges and university.
  • a mobile phone on pay as you go or a 12 month contract with a major supplier would provide more than £11.00 to the school

The possibilities of generating commission for your school or college or university are endless and remember people are only buying what they would buy anyway and from their choice of internet retailer, paying and dealing with the retailer directly. All they need to do is to go on the edupayment website first.
